TABC is the state agency that regulates the alcoholic beverage industry in Texas. They are also responsible for enforcement of theTexas Alcoholic Beverage Code. TABC grants permits and licenses for operators such as restaurants, bars, pubs, distributors, wholesalers. They also issue citations to people, restaurants, bars, pubs, distributors, wholesalers and others for violations of the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Code.
